Atlantic House

Founded in 1998 Atlantic was started by two young men with a vision. George Leonidas and Tas Alexandrou’s company evolved from a small establishment to a progressive company moving in new directions. Their commitment and reputation is evident, continuing as sole directors ten years later.

‘Atlantic’s background began with a commitment to the community. The realisation of their high goals and standards helped their evolution to become one of the most forward thinking service providers in their chosen specialist sector that grew, and is still growing well beyond their expectations.

‘Atlantic’ are very proud to be working in partnership with various Local Authorities and Housing Associations helping to deliver pioneering projects. One such project included providing over 200 refurbished and new build properties in East London to help deliver long term, high-quality, affordable and permanent social rented housing.

In addition, we provide care and accommodation services on behalf of Local Authorities and have experience at managing services that meet and often exceed current contract specification, including tailor made packages for individual clients. This includes support and accommodation for Unaccompanied Minors and Leaving Care Clients.

We service the above schemes through regular monitoring meetings and reviews. Over the years we have had to restructure, due to the growth, to continue to provide a quality service. To this end we have recently gainned accreditation with the British Standards Institution (BSI) for ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems and OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety System. This is in addition to our existing registration BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System, which we gained on 17th August 2005 and have successfully retained on an annual basis thereafter.

BSI is not just about stating what we do, but evidencing from an unbiased external source, to ensure that we actually deliver what we say we do.

In keeping with achieving firsts, Tas Alexandrou (Director) was the first landlord to be presented with the London Landlords Accreditation Scheme certification (LLAS). As well as all the staff, ‘Atlantic’ as a company has also received accreditation. with LLAS.

‘Atlantic’ believe the only way forward is to work cooperatively with Local Authorities and Housing Associations, dealing with any issues together as they arise and addressing situations that may present themselves that are sometimes outside of the parameters of the relevant service level agreement or contract.
